RCAとの関係再構築の意向

　１998年3月、1999年6月、2000年4 月と3度、来日し、第15回トークサロンのゲスト・スピーカーにもなったMr.Jeff DeVriesが、ラドバーン協会理事、緑園都市担当となり、今後のRCAとの関係再構築を図りたい旨メールが入りました（Sep.06.2006).
　ラドバーン小学校と緑園小学校とのペンパル、作品交換、テレビ会議交流、ラドバーン住民の緑園訪問、ホームスティ希望予定などについても触れられています。　下記が、その一部抜粋です。

Mr.Jeff DeVries

　I took my position as a Trustee of the Radburn Association in January of this year, and asked to become chairman of the Ryokuen Toshi committee. My first efforts were to re-establish a cultural connection with our friends in Japan, and I started by communicating with the principal of Radburn School. She is　in a program of pen-pals, artwork exchange and video conferencing. I will continue to work with her on this now that the new school year has started．
　One of our Radburn residents, Mrs. Debbie Zlotowitz, will be visiting Japan as a Japanese Fulbright Scholar from November 12 to November 30 of this year. She will be in Tokyo for five (5) days during her visit and she would like to visit Ryokuen. I have encouraged her to make time for a homestay visit if possible.
